2 More Arrested and Charged in Paumen Murder Conspiracy
Bradley Paumen, the American resort and tour company owner who allegedly hired a hit man to kill four persons, one of them a local attorney, is currently free, out on bail. But two men who did work for him, accountant Ian Skeen and mechanic Linzburn Anderson, are behind bars. Over the weekend Skeen and Anderson were picked up and transported to Belmopan. Police suspect that the men delivered money from Paumen to the hit-man to hire him to kill businessman Michael Modiri and another man. Both were charged for promoting the commission of the crime for that delivery of payment. Skeen was further charged separately for a count of Abetment to Murder because investigators say he actually solicited the hit-man to kill, on behalf of Paumen. It’s an incredible story of murder for hire and callous disregard for life. Even more incredible, Police sources told us…is that Paumen, the alleged mastermind, was able to secure bail even though the prosecution highlighted the gravity of the crimes, and the fact that they had a recording of Paumen. It is expected that Skeen and Anderson will apply to the Supreme Court for a bail hearing on Friday.
