1 Man Injured in Ladyville Scuffle
Also along the Phillip Goldson Highway, mayhem outside of a local bar in Ladyville left one person injured during a scuffle involving five men over the weekend. On Saturday night, twenty-eight-year-old Kareem Arnold was out socializing when he got into a physical altercation with a group of men. In the course of the brawl, Arnold was stabbed once in the chest. When police responded to the fracas, the resident of Mitchell Estate was seen suffering from the injury inflicted. Despite their effort to obtain a statement from the victim, he has refused to give a formal account of what transpired. In the absence of a police report, charges cannot be brought against anyone for stabbing Arnold. He, however, will be charged jointly along with the other individuals for disorderly conduct. Officer Commanding Ladyville Police, Inspector Juanito Cocom spoke on the incident.

Kareem Arnold is no stranger to the law. In March 2014, he, along with another individual, was shot while riding a bicycle in the Bobo Hill area of Ladyville. In April of last year, Arnold and two others, including a minor, were charged with possession of a prohibited firearm when they were busted with a homemade gun, as well as a twelve gauge cartridge.
