Andy moves to Capital; William takes over at Bliss
They are yet to announce the new president but two staff changes at the National Institute of Culture and History are worth noting. Andy Palacio, Director of the Institute of Creative Arts, is moving out of the Bliss to Belmopan where he will serve as deputy to NICH administrator, Victor Espat. Palacio has also been given the title of Cultural Ambassador. Meanwhile, his job as head of ICA has been given to Channel 5 alumnus William Neal. The beefing up of NICH?s administrative side should make it easier for the new NICH president–whoever he or she may be–to take more of a part time supervisory role.
