Bradley Says Perceived Inactivity Since Elections Is Unsubstantiated
With general elections well behind, Belize City Mayor Darrell Bradley, some believe, has been lying low as it relates to activities at City Hall. Earlier today when the media caught up with Bradley, he was asked about his perceived inactivity. Bradley says it is the first time he is hearing about it and besides, he has a full plate before him.

“It appears for the last few months you who have been lauded as mayor who refuses to sit back and watch the status quo continue, there seems to be a lull in activity in your office, in your specific station. Why is it that pre-election and post-election, Darrell Bradley seems to be less active?”
Darrell Bradley, Belize City Mayor
“I don’t know where that comes from I mean we are right now dealing with our collective bargaining agreement for the city Council, this morning I was talking to the director of local government about doing a presentation from the municipal authorities bill. I am out here touring with some people from the American Planning Association.”

“But this is two months after sir…”
Darrell Bradley
“I don’t know months, days, whatever you are talking about but every single day we do projects and activities and we try to do our best to move the city forward. Public perception is public perception but I can tell you that as mayor, I work.”
