City anglers get lucky
It may not be the biggest fish ever caught in Belize, but this goliath grouper could easily provide dinner for two football teams, with plenty left over for tea. The best part for hopeful Belize City fishermen is that the monster was caught right off the seawall near Babb’s warehouse on Princess Margaret Drive. Just for the record, we’ll show this snap taken a few years back at San Pedro. These unbelievable specimens were hauled up from a very secret spot somewhere in the lagoon behind Ambergris Caye.
