Two detained in 3 Flags robbery

Two men have been detained following an armed robbery in the Cayo District. The proprietor of the Three Flags gas station and shop reported to police that around seven Thursday night four men in a black Toyota pulled up, three armed with handguns and the fourth brandishing a knife. They stole six hundred and forty-nine dollars in cash, six cameras and some jewelry and sped off into the night. The police were not far behind, however, and gave chase, that is until the driver of the Toyota lost control between miles fifty-seven and fifty-eight. Two of the passengers managed to run off but two others were apprehended, along with a loaded thirty-eight pistol and two of the cameras. With both men in custody, Cayo cops are now looking for the two others.
