Salesman robbed in Yabra
A salesman for Cayo Tropical Fruits was the victim of an armed robbery in Belize City around midday on Tuesday. Police reports say Hector Cob was making a delivery to a shop on Caesar Ridge Road when two men held him up at gunpoint. Cob told police that the robbers relieved him of six hundred and thirty eight dollars, which was the proceeds of the day’s sales before making good their escape. Police are investigating the incident and have issued an advisory to the public to be extra careful as the holiday season approaches.
