Is There Bad Blood in the PUP South?

Is there bad blood lingering among supporters of previous party leader, Francis Fonseca post the January thirty-first national convention?  Since Fonseca’s defeat, Toledo East Area Representative, Mike Espat has reportedly maintained a negative social media blitz in which Party Leader, John Briceño continues to be disparaged.  While Usher declined comment on the matter, he told the media earlier that Briceño is heading south this weekend to meet with area representatives in the Toledo District.

“The party leader, since the national convention, has been reaching out to all sectors, all corners.  He has done quite a bit of meetings already with these key persons and he intends to make all the constituencies, like I said, in the first hundred days.”

“I can’t comment on that because I haven’t seen it, seen any negative posts.  The party leader and myself are traveling down to Toledo this weekend to meet with Toledo East and Toledo West.  So there’s no issue of any kind of acrimony between them.  So maybe it’s somebody else purporting to be the honorable Mike Espat.  That’s possible too right Mike.”
