Wounded victim silent on shooting
In crime news, a shooting incident in Belize City on Monday evening has left one man injured and a series of unanswered questions for which the police are trying to find answers. Around five o clock Monday evening, twenty-seven year old Kevin Garcia says he was standing in a yard on Antelope Street when he was shot in the upper right side of his back. While Garcia told police that he observed a van pulling up in the area just before the time three gunshots were heard, he could not say if the shooter was in the vehicle. Garcia remains in stable condition at the KHMH, but is not cooperating with the police, leaving them to believe that he may know the reason why someone had him in the crosshairs.
