Elderly watchman killed for shot guns

Cops in the Cayo District are tonight appealing to area residents to help them solve a robbery turned murder in the border town that left an elderly man dead. According to the authorities, seventy-two year old Walton Usher had been working as a watchman for a local business on Monday night. But sometime during his shift, it is suspected that Usher was attacked by a person or persons intent on stealing two shotguns at his disposal. The watchman was overwhelmed and left for dead. Around eight thirty this morning, his body was found with stab wounds to the abdomen. Anyone with information that might assist the police bring the perpetrators to justice is asked to please contact the nearest station or 9-2-2.
