Fatal RTA Claims Life of Trial Farm Resident

The body of Trial Farm resident Hilberto Coyoc is tonight in the morgue at the Northern Regional Hospital after he was knocked down and killed in the Orange Walk District on Thursday night.  The fatal traffic accident happened between miles fifty-five and fifty-six near Trial Farm Village.  When police responded to the scene they observed forty-year-old Coyoc lying on the side of the road and bleeding from the head.  He was immediately taken to the Northern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before ten p.m.  According to sixty-year-old Benjamin Carillo Senior, he was driving his vehicle along the Phillip Goldson Highway when he noticed someone lying down in the road and accidentally ran over him.  Coyoc’s body awaits a post mortem examination.
