Juanito Cocom

Just hours after that Ladyville Police were called out again for another shooting on Marage Road. According to reports, Ladyville businesswoman Cynthia Lozano told Police that at around three that morning she heard noises at her front door followed by three gunshots.

Insp. Juanito Cocom, Acting Regional Commander, Rural Eastern Division

“Police visited Marage Road Ladyville where one Cynthia Lozano, forty-three year old businesswoman of that address reported that she was at home when she heard a sound like somebody kicking her door and thereafter she heard three gunshots. Police upon arriving at the scene observed three apparent bullet holes in the front of her residence – the front door in front of her residence, one to the wall and one to her kitchen cabinet. The scene was processed whereby three expended nine millimeter shells and three slugs were recovered. The complainant states that at this point she has no suspect and that investigation is on.”

Police say that they have a possible motive for the shooting, but preferred not to reveal it pending their investigation. What we can say is that unofficial sources claim that one of Lozano’s sons was a person of interest in a recent murder in that area.
