Elijah Miller charged with Murder of step son

There’s more to the story of the death of two year old Ezekiel Tejeda of Orange Walk Town. A post mortem examination has concluded that the child died as a result of multiple trauma to the abdomen. The mother of the child told News Five that Ezekiel had been left with his stepfather, Elijah Miller, who allegedly violently beat the toddler last Friday. Ezekiel was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital where he died while undergoing surgery. But what will be Miller’s fate? We asked Detective Corporal Jeffrey Williams.

Miller was today charged with Murder. And in the case of another child that died in Orange Walk on Sunday, a post mortem has confirmed that three year old Joshua Esquivel died of asphyxia due to drowning. The body was identified to police by Joshua’s father, Jerry Esquivel.
