A Belize City Butcher is Accused of Stealing from Meat Shop
This morning, twenty-year-old Fernando Guerra, was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court for a charge of burglary. The butcher is accused of stealing four knives, a fan, a meat grinder and a hammer….all valued at two thousand dollars from Shana Humes meat shop, Seleny’s, located on Mahogany Street. Guerra pleaded not guilty to the charge and was offered bail in the sum of two thousand dollars and is due back in court on June twenty-seventh, 2016. Humes says that she detected that the burglar bar door and window were opened when she went to the store on Wednesday. With the assistance of a taxi man, Guerra was located.
