…And P.U.P. condemns coup of Honduran president
Preceding a statement from the G.O.B. today, the opposition, the People’s United Party issued one of its own also condemning the coup d’état and calling for the secure and unconditional return to office of President Zelaya. Zelaya was removed just before a referendum he had called was to take place which his opponents claimed was an attempt to have him remain in office past his term on January twenty-seventh next year.
