Two detained for counterfeit notes
Two men have been detained after trying to pass a pair of bogus blue notes at a Belize City gas station. According to an attendant at Pound Yard Esso, on Monday morning, a Dodge Ram van pulled up and its driver ordered two hundred dollars worth of gasoline. After handing the attendant two rolled up bills the van drove off in a hurry. After a check of the notes showed their lack of pedigree, the cops were alerted which led to the impounding of the vehicle and its two occupants.
