Safiyyah finds the happening summer spots

It’s Lobster Fest weekend, but there’s plenty more going on around the country over the next few days. So even if you’re not into seafood, Safiyyah’s has found places where you can go to party or relax this summer in What’s Happening Belize.

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize.

If you’re a big Demarco fan then you have not one but two opportunities to see him in action. Demarco will be live inside Palm Island. The French Kiss bash, this Friday night will also feature Tagg International, Belizean Movements and DJ Ritchie. They are especially calling out all Cancers. Then on Saturday night it’s Summer Fever and Demarco will be down south in Dangriga inside Whynot Island. Music will be provided by Belizean Movements Tagg International and many more DJs. There will also be performances by Supa G, Mr. Program and Continental Cat.

Here in the city on Saturday night, you can go out to the Mexican Institute of culture and enjoy a late Cinco de Mayo celebration. This event will be a Mexican fiesta and auction. There will be lot of Mexican food and live music. So go out and support this fundraiser being held by the Rotary Club of Belize.

Also on Saturday, and Sunday as well, you and your family can go out and enjoy an elegant night of ballet. The Ballet Art School will be presenting the Magic of Dreams inside the Bliss. Tickets are still on sale. The show on Saturday night will begin at seven on the one on Sunday will begin at five p.m.

If you’re still in the mood for partying on Sunday, then you can go check out Red Stripe Beer Bash featuring Renegade Sounds from Miami inside Palm island. There will be special prices on drinks.

And of course I can’t forget to mention that this weekend is Lobster Fest in Caye Caulker and Placencia.
