Inter-Office basketball finals bounces into City Center
Basketball fans have a treat tonight. The finals for the Inter-Office League continue on the court. The league started with twenty four teams and last week Friday it was whittled down to the last two. Game two is being played tonight at the Belize City Center. The best of three games determine the winner between Atlantic Bank and the Belize City Council. Atlantic Bank won game one last week Friday and its players are ready to take home the trophy. Ian Mariano, the director of the league, says supporters of the two teams should not miss the action.

“Entertainment. If you were there last Friday night—in fact for the entire season—this year we have had the competitiveness has been at a very high level. We have had introduction of many players from the semi-pro league and so forth. So that has definitely added to the performance and the presentation. So tonight we’re looking at the two teams that have advanced and so they should expect a very, very high level of competitiveness and overall a good show.”
Jose Sanchez
“Any particular player people would want to see?”
Ian Mariano
“People mainly go out there and look the likeness of Kenroy Usher from the Belize City Council and Andrew “Head” Staine. Definitely he is one of the players—actually he is the MVP for the regular season and the rate he’s going at, he is moving on being the MVP for the playoff as well.”
