Three charged in Corozal murder
Corozal police have charged three young men, one of them a minor, following the stabbing death of twenty-two-year-old Miguel Angel Lin. According to police, Lin was at the Miramontes Bar in Santa Elena around eleven-thirty on Saturday night when he apparently became involved in an argument with sixteen-year-old Jose Omar Machado, eighteen-year-old Antonio Anderson and twenty-two-year-old Marconi Tzul. It is reported that the three young men left the establishment and shortly afterward, when Lin departed, he was ambushed. Lin, received injuries to his head and face and was stabbed twice in the abdomen. Today the police charged Machado, Anderson and Tzul with conspiracy to commit murder while Machado, believed to be the one who inflicted the fatal stab wounds, has additionally been charged with murder.
