San Pedro Police Seize Drugs on the Island

At around four o’clock this evening, a joint operation conducted by officers attached to the Special Branch and Quick Response Team in the Escalante area of San Pedro Town yielded an array of drugs.  Police searched the residence of twenty-seven-year-old Juslyn Keoma Daniels, a Belizean waiter, and found five hundred and twenty-six grams of suspected cannabis, as well as twenty-seven grams of cannabis resin and twenty-six grams of cocaine and point seven gram of ecstasy.  Daniels was in the company of a seventeen-year-old minor and the pair was charged jointly with two counts of drug trafficking for the cannabis and the cocaine, as well as possession of controlled drugs for cannabis resin and ecstasy.
