Bowen donates to cycling race
On June twentieth Belizean and foreign cyclists will be pedalling from Benque Viejo Del Carmen to Belize City in the second annual Father’s Day Cycling Classic. The race is hosted by F.M. 2000 and sponsored by Bowen and Bowen Limited. This morning, the company handed over five thousand dollars that will be used to fund prizes for the race. In accepting the cheque from Bowen and Bowen Marketing Manager Nick Pollard, Cycling Association President and F.M. 2000 Chief, Gerald Garbutt, says Belizeans should expect an exciting race.

“The route will be from Benque. We start at eight o?clock Sunday morning, leave Benque going to Belmopan around the Ring Road, come out back and our way back to Belize City to the Marion Jones Stadium.”

The race will finish at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex where there will be additional events including a female mountain bike competition
