Teenage RTA Victim Dies

Sixteen year old Tyrese Carcamo succumbed to injuries he sustained following a traffic accident on Tuesday between miles eight and nine on the George Price Highway. Carcamo was riding home around six p.m. that evening when he was hit from behind by a taxi heading to Belize City. The impact sent the minor to into the windshield of the vehicle, causing him to sustain severe head injuries. He was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a critical condition where he passed away just before midday today. It is expected that the driver of the vehicle will be charged with manslaughter by negligence.
