So Will Flowers Get Meeting With Barrow?
The Prime Minister has stated that he will absolutely not meet with accused murderer William Mason, who says he has evidence to provide. Mark Flowers has basically made the same claim, and has also stated that he will request a meet with the PM to provide that information. So will that desired session come to pass?
Prime Minister Dean Barrow
“I’d have to reflect very carefully on that. As I said, Mark is somebody I have had regard for. He is now charged with these offenses. He is innocent until proven guilty, I repeat. And I don’t know as a consequence merely of him being charged, I should take the position that I cannot see him, that I cannot speak to him. If what he says he wants to tell me has nothing to do with his case, then I would certainly entertain a request to meet with him. Again, I wish to be careful. I do not want to smear anyone, but the fact is that Mark has been charged; it is clear that he has an axe to grind. Not saying that as a consequence of this axe he would manufacture things against public officials. That is very much an open question. But those are the circumstances. He’s charged; he’s charged by the police department of which he was a member. He’s human; clearly there is a sense in which he feels betrayed. In those circumstances, I really have to think very careful as to whether it will do more harm than good for me to meet with mark even though he would be insisting that the purpose of the meeting would have nothing to do with his own charges.”
Let me be clear on this.
Him bringing me money (cash only) has nothing to with this indictment, therefore I should talk to him about business.
