Suspected Human Trafficker, One of Many to Benefit from “Blank” Passports

The special audit on the visas, nationality and passports hustle covers a two-year period: 2011 to 2013. The feeding frenzy during that brief period was obviously gluttonous, and if the audit was to have extended beyond that period, what else would have been uncovered? That’s the question many are asking because there is reason to believe that it never stopped. We have been reporting on the many cases of Belizean birthrights that were illegally issued to undeserving individuals with numerous nationalities. The list is so long that we can report for months on the hustle. Take the case of David So. A blank passport was issued to So and found in his possession by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The U.S. Customs notified the department that on July seventh, So travelled to Cancun with the blank passport, number P-zero-zero-four-three-eight-zero-five, which actually belonged to a stolen batch. The audit found that So attempted to travel to Cancun once again with another blank passport, which the audit found had been documented as spoilt. And the list goes on. The document identifies on page sixty-nine of the passport audit that one hundred machine readable blank passports were stolen on September 2006 and recovered from a house in San Ignacio. Five of the passports not recovered were found with So, who is described as a suspected human trafficker. This is a story that we will continue to follow.

There is a well known human trafficker in Consejo Village, Corozal who is politically tied to the UDP and makes finances just as Mr. William Mason. The Police and Immigration personal continue to live from his illicit trade. Please come and investigate.

All those public officers involved in this scam should be fired and process in the courts of the country for criminal offenses and no bail but jail. If any high public officer(s) is/are involved they should also suffer the consequences. Come on Mr Barrow show that you are in control because if you do not do any thing, you are in agreement with these people or you simply do not care about Belize, the jewel.
