Hit and run driver arrested
With the assistance of the public, Orange Walk police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit and run accident on the Northern Highway. Twenty-six year old Henry Garcia of Sarteneja Village was charged today with manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, driving without due care and attention, failure to stop and render aid, failure to report a traffic accident, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Garcia is accused of knocking Daniel Sandoval of Trial Farm Village off his bike Sunday night. Sandoval died at the scene.
