Integrity Radio observes 1st anniversary
They are the latest addition to the radio scene in Belize City, and one year after Integrity Radio hit the airwaves, the station is celebrating in grand style. Just like the message at the heart of its programming, the “nothing-but-truth” radio station is inviting everyone to join in the celebration.
Errol Robateau, Manager, Integrity Radio
“We’re having a big one year celebration, a kind of outdoor event at the City Centre tomorrow beginning at three p.m. We’re going to have official ceremonies at four p.m. And we’re going to have food, drinks, kids play grounds, live bands, dancing, and we’re going to sing happy birthday for the radio station tomorrow. So it’s going to be a fun thing for the whole family to be a part of.”
Patrick Jones
“Twelve months after it went on air what has it been like for Integrity Radio?”
Errol Robateau
“It’s been a learning experience, and also I feel that we?ve made an impact in Belize on a whole. The calls that we get everyday almost from people who listen in are phenomenal. People dealing with marriage issues, people dealing with relationship issues, and all sorts of social ills that we have been able to address. It?s been awesome the response.”
Patrick Jones
“What’s ahead for Integrity Radio?”
Errol Robateau
“We have a lot of things in the near future planned. We want to stress a lot more on marriage and have a live talk show as it relates to marriage, and also, we just have to develop our programming a lot more as we learn about what the community needs. So we have some big plans.”
Integrity Radio broadcasts from studio facilities on the grounds of Zoe World Outreach Ministries on Vernon Street in Belize City.
