Courts holds first Gold Rush spin

On Saturday, Courts Belize on the Northern Highway in Belize City held its first Gold Rush Show and Draw of the year. The audience at the game show answered questions and won prizes. This was followed by the selection of the customer who would spin the Gold Rush Wheel for up to five thousand dollars in cash. Semi-finalists were chosen on Tuesday, and from among these, Sharon Martinez of Seine Bight Village was picked. Martinez spun the wheel and took home one thousand five hundred dollars, tax free. Next month’s draw will be held on May eleventh and the spin will be on May fifteenth. The total in Gold Rush Prizes is two hundred thousand dollars and every Courts customer gets an entry ticket for the barrel with every fifty dollars spent.
