Fight leaves one dead in Independence
A twenty-two year old man has been charged with murder following an incident in Independence Village on Thursday night. According to police, twenty-nine year old Larry August and twenty-two year old Clayton Forman got into a misunderstanding on Disco Street around eleven-thirty that night. During the dispute authorities say Forman pulled out a pen knife and stabbed August to the left side of his chest. August was rushed to the village clinic, but died on the way.
