B.N.T.U. president makes case for fifth demonstration in a month in capital
In making the case why the demonstration – the fifth in less than a month in the capital city – has to happen, Luke Palacio said the B.N.T.U. is fulfilling its individual role as a populist organization in the service of the people.
Luke Palacio, National President, B.N.T.U.
“My friends the things we are talking about, the things we are taking these actions upon and hoping that they will being about good governance of this country, everybody knows, everybody feels it, everybody sees it every single day. And, so when individuals, in the government will decide that they want to get the public on their side simply because as far as they are concerned, they see nothing wrong, the masses of the Belizean people see what is wrong and at the end of the day the Belizean people will vindicate the union for standing up. Because they have been clamoring for this for a long, long time; that we need somebody to stand up, somebody to speak up for us; and we as the educators of this country are well suited to speak to those issues.”

Where is Mr. Godwin Hulse? He used to shout about good governance and accountability and now he is also part of the corruption. Has no credibility to talk about good governance now.
