Benque man drowns in Mopan River
In police news, a weekend swim in the Mopan River on Sunday claimed the life of a nineteen year old Benque Viejo man. Police say Kelvin Mis went swimming around six o’clock on Sunday evening during which he disappeared under the water. Mis body was retrieved from the river on Monday morning. Police say it showed no signs of violence and they do not suspect foul play.
