Speaker of the House to Sue Attorney General & Auditor General

There is a most unprecedented case to report tonight. No other than the Speaker of the House of Representatives has launched a law suit against his own government. Michael Peyrefitte is making good on an earlier threat and is suing his government’s Attorney General Vanessa Retreage who by law is the legal representative for all government ministers and departments. If you thought this is strange it gets more interesting. The speaker is also suing the Auditor General Dorothy Bradley, who is appointed by the House of Representatives. The suit involves the Special Audit on Immigration presented by Bradley in which Peyrefitte is named. Since then we have learnt that attorney Marilyn Williams is representing the Speaker.
