Woman Stole Security Guard’s Wallet After Proposing Oral Sex
Thirty-two-year old Sarita Ash, an unemployed single mother of three children, now has a conviction on her record for theft. But the circumstances are somewhat unusual. According to security guard forty-eight-year-old Frederick Trapp, he had his wallet stolen on Thursday, October twentieth, while at the Uno Gas Station on Youth for the Future Drive in Belize City. Trapp reported that Ash approached him that evening around nine-thirty and asked to perform oral sexual intercourse on him for money. She said she would do anything to get some money to feed her children. But as she tried to unzip his pants he refused her advances. She then hugged him tightly and bit him in the chest. But that, it appears, was to distract him from her hand reaching around to his back pocket. She left with the wallet, which contained four hundred and ninety dollars. But he soon set chase after realizing that his wallet was gone and caught up with the thief at a club, where police were called in. Ash pleaded guilty before Magistrate Norman Rodriguez, who spared her a harsher penalty due to her circumstances and the fact that she is a first-time offender. She was fined two hundred dollars to be paid by November twenty-eighth, 2016. In default she will serve two months’ imprisonment. No word on whether she paid back Trapp what she took from him.
