Twenty-seven year old Mark Anthony Tingling was standing in this yard on Neal’s Penn Road with a group of young men when he was fatally shot in his upper left chest by a lone gunman.
Police and the Tingling family strongly believe the murder is the result of an argument that erupted following a card game on Saturday evening.

“The young man they tell me that one ah the bally hail ah. But when they hail ah, like somebody else mi deh dah back di wait pan ah and dah right there he got shot. And he came out holding his heart and tell J.C., the bally weh he mi di argue with shot me.”
While police have yet to determine the motive of the murder, Tingling believes her son never suspected someone wanted to hurt him.
