Gunshot victim dies; suspect faces murder rap
A young man wounded by gunfire earlier this month has died of his injuries. Twenty-one year old Nicoli Lewis, shot in the neck on the morning of February seventh on Caesar Ridge Road in Belize City, succumbed to his injuries around nine a.m. today in the K.H.M.H. Consequently, it is expected that twenty-seven year old Jason Paulino, already charged with non-capital offences in connection with the wounding, will have those charges upgraded to murder.
