P.M. hopes to complete B.T.L. sale
While the Prime Minister’s term of office has plenty of time left to run, such is not the case for the deal to sell Belize Telecommunications Ltd. With the original sixty-day due diligence period come and gone, the P.M. explained that the matter is very close to completion.

The opposition United Democratic Party today issued a press release accusing the government of incompetence and bad faith in its facilitation of the sale of B.T.L. to Innovative Communications and called for a public explanation of where the matter now stands.
