Gardenia Murder Suspects Charged
On Monday night, we told you that four persons of interest in Nelson Zelaya’s murder were in police custody. Today, two of those men were charged for the Gardenia resident’s killing. Brothers Lenford Samuel Harris Junior and Camron Douglas Harris were each charged with a single count of murder. On Thursday, twenty-seven-year-old Zelaya was in his yard in Gardenia Village on the Phillip Goldson Higwhay when he was ambushed and shot in the face in front of his young children. Police are pretty certain they have the gunmen, but they are very mum when it comes to the details in the case. Here’s what Commander of the Eastern Rural Division, ACP Edward Broaster had to say.
ACP Edward Broaster, Regional Commander, Eastern Rural Division

Reporter
