Just in time for Christmas, woman wins Lotto
There is nothing that can put a smile on a person’s face like money, and lots of it in the days just before Christmas. But that’s just the kind of good fortune that struck Geraldine Conorquie, who travelled from Georgeville village today to collect her eighty seven thousand, five hundred dollar lotto jackpot. Conorquie says the numbers that played for her Saturday night are among a series that she has been buying for quite a while.

“Well I found out that I won by a phone call from my sister. She was asking me if I was still buying the number and I tell her, yes. Which in I was not feeling good, I was in my bed with a flu and I just got up and I checked the number and I see that that was the number and my flu went right away.”

“The big question now is what will you do with the money?”

“Well first of all, I am thinking about a house. Later on me and my family will decide what I will do with the rest of the money.”
