Journalist Jose Sanchez Accused of Knocking Down Hattieville Bicyclist

There was a near-fatal road traffic accident this evening in Hattieville involving a male cyclist who was riding along the George Price Highway.  Sometime before six o’clock, a young man was reportedly knocked down off his bicycle by well-known media personality Jose Sanchez.  The cause of the accident is not known, but News Five understands that Sanchez was driving a silver Honda Ridgeline in the direction of Belmopan at that time of the accident.  According to witnesses, the victim was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for emergency medical attention.  The condition of the victim and his identity remain unknown.
