Investigation Shows Officers in Training Contradicting Top Command
Following the airing of our story on Thursday night, News Five obtained copies of interviews conducted over the past three days with officers of the Bravo and Alpha Platoons involved in the training program. For the most part, those interviewed do not place themselves near the trench where B.D.F. recruit 2-2-9-7-0-2 Michael Rivas was thrown into. But there are contradictions to what Lieutenant Colonel Azariel Loria. Loria says that Rivas was taken to another area, but in the interview, one of the officers says that he was brought back to the same place where the C.S. gas had been released. In another interview, a soldier claims that they were playing a psychological game on the recruit, even though the video captures Rivas in distress. Rivas was found about a hundred meters from where the exercise was taking place and some of those interviewed say that he was not hit. We’ll have more on this ongoing investigation.
