Two shot in Belize City
There was a shooting incident in Belize City on Thursday night that left a pair of young men suffering from various degrees of injuries. Sometime after eight o’clock, multiple gunshots rang out in the Lake Independence area, in the vicinity of Cumberbatch Street. During the gunfire Sherlock Vernon was shot in the stomach, while Kemar Flores was injured in the leg. Despite assurances from the police department that a detailed report on the incident would have been released to the media, at news time tonight the conditions of both men remain unclear.
