CKTV produces first weekly winners

If you weren’t at Club Calypso Sunday afternoon or tuned in to Channel 5, you missed a refreshing look at some talented young Belizeans. It was the first week of our Children’s Karaoke competition, with a total of eight contestants divided across junior and senior categories. Here’s how it went after the judges marked their ballots.

Nine-year-old Donna Neal attends Christ the King School in Dangriga, while thirteen-year-old Wilson Grinage is a student at Our Lady of the Way in Ladyville. The first round of competition will continue for the next three Sundays, after which the four weekly winners in each category will appear in the finals on November sixteenth. A repeat of the show airs every Monday night at seven-thirty.
