Toledo man killed in S. Hwy. accident
Police are investigating a traffic accident on Saturday that has resulted in the death of a young Toledo man. Twenty-one year old Thomas Rash of Laguna Village was riding his bike on the Southern Highway two miles outside Santa Rosa Village around six forty-five p.m. when he was struck by a Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle was driven by thirty-eight year old heavy equipment contractor Benson Ramclam of Independence, who told police that Rash and another cyclist were pedalling across the road when he was knocked down. Rash was taken to the Southern Regional Hospital in Dangriga, but was dead on arrival. No charges have yet been filed.
