Christian musicians to entertain southside
On Saturday evening the football field behind the St. Martin De Porres primary school will come alive, not with sport, but with song, as a number of musical groups will be entertaining the public. The event is planned by the Belize Christian Media Association, a group formed four years ago to create unity among Christian broadcasters. According to public relations officer Brad Pattico, City Fest is for everyone…but the young are especially invited.

“No charges whatsoever, as a matter of fact we want young people to come and not feel tied to anything, just bring along their family and mothers and fathers and invited too. We also will have chairs for them to be seated on. Afterwards we will have some hot dogs that people can participate in having with us.”

“What are you trying to achieve here?”
Brad Pattico
“I think the basic thing is to show love. A lot of people look at the church as a church wanting to get something from the people, and this is a way of giving back.”
Some of the groups that will be entertaining the crowd include the New Beginnings, Royal Priesthood and New Nations Dancers among others. The fun gets underway from six p.m. and should be finished by nine.
