Cops find ammo, mask at abandoned house
With the pressure building against the possession of illegal firearms it appears that some gunmen are keeping the tools of their trade out of harm’s way. But police are catching on. Today a team led by Sergeant Ervin Munoz, searched an abandoned house at number twenty-eight West Street. What they found, while hardly constituting an arsenal, is a reminder that there’s a lot of deadly stuff still out there. Hidden above the ceiling of the upper flat was a box containing fifteen nine-millimetre bullets and one prohibited forty-four calibre round. Inside one of the walls was a navy blue ski mask that police strongly suspect was not meant for Halloween. No one was found in the area of the house and no arrests were made.
