…After burning ambulance causes a stir
And in an unfortunate aside to the Carnival, News 5’s camera captured these dramatic pictures of an emergency vehicle, which burst into flames during the parade. The driver of the vehicle quickly evacuated the people who were riding in the back of the ambulance and tried to extinguish the blaze. When his efforts failed, a fire truck was brought in to douse the burning engine with water. A check with the Northern Medical Plaza this afternoon indicates that the cause of the fire was traced to a bad electrical connection. The ambulance has been repaired and was put back into service today.
