Hit and run driver charged
In other crime news, the driver of a vehicle that killed a pedestrian on the Western Highway has been arrested and charged. Thirty-four year old Honduran Jose Monterosso has been charged with failure to stop and report an accident, driving without due care and attention, manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct. On Tuesday morning he knocked down Jose Gonzales near mile thirty-one and failed to stop. His pickup was later found abandoned on the Coastal Road.
