Caught on Camera – a Gas Attendant is Robbed at Gunpoint
Just minutes before the murder of Brandon Bradley, there was an armed robbery at the 24/7 Gas Station located at the junction of the Phillip Goldson Highway and the Lord’s Bank Road in Ladyville. Surveillance video provided to the media by the proprietor of the establishment shows that around nine-thirty-nine p.m., a female gas attendant on duty sat near a pump, unaware of the impending attack. Within minutes, a man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a fluorescent safety vest and a fisherman’s hat approached her. The video also captures him as he pulls out a gun and points it at the employee. Her fanny pack containing monies collected during her shift was then forcibly removed from her body before the gunman reached out and ripped a pair of gold chains from her neck. As the robber hurried away, he would be met by another individual and they would both escape with the bag containing an undetermined amount of money collected from the sale of gas for that day. This is the first time that an attendant has been robbed at that gas station. News Five spoke today with several members of staff, who say that they are in fear of their lives because there is no security officer posted at the gas station during late night hours. The surveillance footage was handed over to the police department.
