Dolores Balderamos-Garcia Says Lino Was Fighting Divorce, Had Protection Order
Coincidentally, Lino had recently gotten a protection and occupation order for her property in Santa Elena, the residence whose ownership is under dispute.
Dolores Balderamos-Garcia, Attorney for Pamela Lino
“My main plea to the public would be to assist the police. In Belize, somebody must know something. Somebody must sih something and the police have shared with me, and again I can’t say too much but what this investigation is pointing to is a conspiracy. And I guess because of the difficult circumstances, Ms. Lino may have put herself in a very, very precarious situation. She had obtained protection and occupation orders in the San Ignacio Magistrate Court, but as I said, I must be circumspect in not saying more as far as that is concerned, except to repeat again that we would ask the public, we implore the public to assist the police and the authorities in their work and 03:54 Out:…in their investigation.”

“What are you at liberty to divulge? I know this is very sensitive, I wouldn‘t want to be pressing for information that would compromise in any way what the officers are doing in terms of their investigation. What can you share with us at this point?”
Dolores Balderamos-Garcia
“Well I think I‘ve shared everything that I am able to. I couldn‘t say more, but only to repeat that the police need assistance. The authorities need the public‘s assistance to get to the bottom of this lady‘s disappearance. Like I said, I still act for her. It hasn‘t been proved that she is deceased, although we highly suspect that she‘s been murdered and that it is a murder investigation. That is probably what I can say.”
