P.M. leads Central Americans at Taiwan summit

If you haven’t seen Prime Minister Said Musa on this newscast for a few days it’s because he’s leading a top-level delegation to Taiwan. Musa, in his role as President of the Central American Integration System, SICA, is leading the group of regional heads of government in their fourth summit with the Republic of China. The last few days have been devoted to preparatory meetings, with the full summit scheduled for the twenty-first. It will culminate in the signing of a joint communiqué by the Central Americans, and Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bian. The Belize delegation includes Foreign Minister and Attorney General Godfrey Smith, Minister of Finance and Home Affairs Ralph Fonseca, Senator Godwin Hulse, Director of International Cooperation Moises Cal, Ambassador of Belize to the Republic of China William Quinto, Foreign Service Officer Mike Bejos and Vaughan Gill from the Office of the Prime Minister.
