Gospel artist releases new CD
There are many Belizeans who have been writing songs for years…but those tunes have traditionally been confined to humming in the shower. But as technology makes recording and production cheap and easy, much of that previously hidden talent is going public, like this latest effort in gospel music.
Wallace Coleman Jr., Artist
“A lot of people are hooked up on crack and different stuff because they feel that is the only world that they are in and maybe that is the only world there is, but Hello World there is a new world and there is hope and a brighter day for tomorrow.”

Thirty eight year old Wallace Coleman, junior may not be able to change the lifestyle of the misguided, but Coleman who has been writing gospel songs for the past eighteen years, is determined to inspire the good in people the only way he knows.
Wallace Coleman, Jr.
“Well, its just letting the world know that hey, Hello World, Jesus love you. There is somebody that really cares regardless of the situation, ongoing situation that we are face each day.”
Since he was fourteen years old Coleman was inspired to bring comfort to those in need. He believes it was the Lord who called on him to use his talent, write inspirational songs, and make people feel good, no matter what the misfortune.
The eleven track CD, Hello World, sets out to do just that. Coleman, who wrote all the songs, says the CD release was delayed for two years due to some setbacks, but he believes that with all the crime that has been taking place, the timing could not have been more perfect.
Wallace Coleman, Jr.
“I write a whole lot of different songs. But on this specific album, Hello World, you will find a lot of pray songs that will lift up people spirits in this time and era that we are living in.”
By the way, Coleman, who is a tour guide, also shares the good news with the hundreds of tourists he carries throughout the week. Jacqueline Woods for News 5.
“Hello World” is available at C.Y.’s Music shop on Hyde’s Lane for twenty dollars.
